"From my first interview to starting work at Media 10 everyone was so welcoming and supportive and always ready to help out. All of the directors are really friendly and approachable and most of them sit within their departments making them more accessible and easy to talk to. Media 10 has a work hard, play hard attitude and it is a fun and lively place to work. With a summer party and a Christmas party every year this is a great time for everyone to get to know each other and have fun after working hard.
I started on reception and after 6 months I saw an opportunity to move into the marketing team so I approached the marketing director who was more than happy to give me a chance within the team, even though I have had no marketing experience. Everyone was so supportive and I felt a great deal of encouragement to further my career and develop within the company. Everybody works so well together across all the departments and the end result is clear in the events and magazines that we produce.
Both teams I have worked in have encouraged me and helped me as much as they can and made me feel an instant part of the team dynamic. I feel happy to come to work every day to an office of friendly faces and easy going people who work hard together and are rewarded with many event awards and I am proud to be part of such a successful company."
"I joined Media 10 at the beginning...
"I joined Media 10 at the beginning of 2012 and took the very challenging position of IT Manager responsible for all network infrastructures in a single office. The very dynamics of Media 10 as fast paced makes the role challenging but very exciting. New shows and projects are always on the horizon which mean no two days are the same. Due to the company constantly expanding it's portfolio of shows, magazines and various projects I feel very honoured to be involved in the expansion of the IT network not only within the UK but also in China and South Africa.
This expansion in IT has lead to considerable investment in on-premises and cloud infrastructure and this is only made possible by the board of directors taking the time to not only listen to my proposals and vision for IT going forward, but also supporting and backing my ideas and recommendations. I have attended all training I have requested during my employment and have been encouraged to attend off site seminars and conferences when I felt they would be useful and of benefit to the business. I have never worked in an organisation that has encouraged me to think outside the box and explore my ideas as much as Media 10 have.
Day to day the office has such a wonderful and vibrant atmosphere between member of staff across all departments. People are always smiling, laughing and have such passion in what they do which is somewhat infectious. This camaraderie is strengthened more so during the summer and Christmas parties which can't be missed! I'm feel very lucky and privileged to hold the position I do as IT Manager for this extraordinary organisation."
