Grand Designs Live was launched at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre in Docklands on 10 June 2005

With 43,451 visitors during the three days, it smashed records by becoming the ‘most successful launch show at ExCeL.’ Kevin Murphy, the deputy CEO of ExCeL, called Grand Designs Live ‘without doubt the most spectacular launch I have witnessed in this industry in the last two decades.’

Grand Designs Live consists of six shows under one roof: Grand Build, Grand Interiors, Grand Kitchens, Grand Bathrooms, Grand Gardens and theGrand Village.

The exhibition sets out to celebrate creativity, ingenuity, determination and aspiration.

The 2009 event attracted over 105,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors across 10 days. For the future, Grand Designs Live will continue to grow and we are currently finalising plans to expand the event.
