HRH The Prince of Wales visits the Prince's Houses at the 106th Ideal Home Show

This week the 106th Ideal Home Show and the last ever home show at Earls Court welcomed HRH The Prince of Wales ) to tour the Princes Houses in association with the Prince's Foundation. During his visit, the Prince spent time admiring the three Princes Foundation Show Homes that are currently being showcased in the Princes Crescent. Members of the Prince's Foundation showcased the homes to The Prince of Wales, as he appreciated the beautiful eco-efficient designs.

The three innovative full-scale properties consisting of The Baillie Scott, The Family Home and The Cottage aim to inspire visitors and show them just how versatile eco-friendly design can be. All the properties are based on its eco-home model that is 70% more energy efficient than current building regulations require. Unlike typical eco homes, which rely on complex technology and systems to achieve their eco-cred, the Prince's Houses are built using a combination of the best traditional building methods with new techniques and technologies.

After his tour The Prince of Wales met many contributors to the houses including Prince's Foundation Ambassador George Clarke (pictured) as well as taking time out to meet some of our lucky visitors! This is the 3rd occasion in the last 5 years that The Prince of Wales has visited the Ideal Home Show, proving once again that the Ideal Home Show continues to attract royal support
