Ideal Home Show opens its doors Manchester, once again.

Media 10, organisers of the Ideal Home Show, have labelled this years Ideal Home Show sponsored by Express Bi-folding Doors a great success, after once again welcoming huge crowds through its doors in Manchester over its new four day residency at EventCity.

Following the huge success of its 2014 debut, the Ideal Home Show sponsored by Express Bi-folding Doors arrived back in EventCity, Manchester earlier this month for its first birthday, with organisers extending the popular show from three days to four, due to demand.

Opening on Thursday 4th June, the four day event offered Northern crowds seven sections each dedicated to making a house a home, including: Interiors, Home Improvements, Food & Housewares, Technology, Gardens, Fashion & Beauty and Shopping, and saw a whopping 35,000 visitors walk through its doors.

On the bill this year saw an appetising array of celebrity talent and industry experts including interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, well-known architect and TV presenter George Clarke, top foodie Gregg Wallace, gardening expert Diarmuid Gavin, TV presenter and Model Amanda Lamb and everybody's favourite Money Saving Expert, Martin Lewis.

The iconic British home show, with an added Northern twist treated visitors to a unique shopping experience for the whole family, packed with 300 exciting exhibitors and fantastic features including a fully built Show Home, inspirational Room Sets, top chefs at the Food & Drink Theatre, relaxing Restaurant and Champagne Bar, as well as a spectacular Ideal Super Theatre, filled with talks and demonstrations.

Lee Newton, Managing Director of Media 10, said; "We were extremely happy to be bringing the Ideal Home Show back to Manchester for its first birthday after its success in June 2014. Due to its popularity, we made the decision to extend the show to four days, as opposed to three, and it seems we made the right decision and are really pleased with the results."

"Feedback from both visitors and exhibitors has been outstanding, with all agreeing the extra day really added to the overall visitor experience. There's something so special about Manchester and the crowds, and we're looking forward to bringing our second Ideal Home Show at Christmas to EventCity in November."

Andy Orr, Managing Director at EventCity, Manchester, said; "The team at EventCity were delighted to welcome back The Ideal Home Show for the new longer run of four days. The show continued to surpass our expectations, and was another fantastic success – not just for those directly involved in the event, but the secondary benefits to the regional economy are substantial – hotels, restaurants, retail and transport companies all enjoying a significant financial boost. We look forward to welcoming the Media 10 team back at Christmas, for another spectacular event"

Ideal Home Show at Christmas will be returning to EventCity, Manchester from 12-15 November with an exciting array of celebrity ambassadors, industry experts and exhibitors to bring seasonal inspiration and yuletide joy. For more information visit www.idealhomeshowmanchester.com
