The Ideal Home Show exceeds all expectations

Britain's largest home inspiration event, The Ideal Home Show sponsored by Zoopla returned to Olympia London in March 2016. The UK's biggest consumer home show welcomed over 235,000 visitors across the 17 day run from 18th March 2016.

The show managed to be bigger and better than ever before with bigger brands, inspiring discussions and three stunning full-scale show homes all under one roof.

Lee Newton, CEO of Ideal Home Show organisers Media 10, said, "Our award winning home show has always been at the forefront of British home trends and inspiration. We love that we are able to provide a space for people to visit and visualise different aspects of their home aspirations. Being able to interact with different products and processes in person makes it much easier for people to bring to life their dream homes."

The exhibition featured seven dedicated sections, including: the flagship Ideal Show Homes, Ideal Home Improvements sponsored by Express Bi-folding Doors, Ideal Interiors sponsored by Thomas Sanderson, Ideal Gardens sponsored by Hydropool, Ideal Technology powered by Virgin Media, Ideal Food & Housewares sponsored by Thirst Pockets, as well as Ideal Shopping and Ideal Fashion & Beauty.

TV presenter and inspirational author Katie Piper appeared at the show as ambassador for Ideal Fashion & Beauty, along with our other fabulous celebrity ambassadors including TV presenter and architect George Clarke, gadget expert Suzi Perry, food critic Gregg Wallace, interiors icon Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, and gardening favourite Alan Titchmarsh.

Rob Nathan Group Marketing Director said “Once again the Ideal Home Show surpassed expectations. The event is now firmly established in its original home at Olympia and the natural daylight certainly makes the show even more spectacular. We certainly achieved our aims of maintaining a gate of over 200,000 visitors, improving the amount of AB visitors to the show and attracting a younger, more affluent audience. Re-book broke previous records so all in all a great result for the 108th year of the Ideal Home Show!”
