Lee Newton

Founder & Chairman

Lee has launched and run some of Britain’s most iconic events during his 30+ year career, from acquiring, renewing, and growing the fortunes of the famous Ideal Home Show, to working in partnership with the Royal Household to bring the Queen’s Coronation Festival to life in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
Under Lee’s stewardship, Media 10 have become the largest independent event organiser in the UK, and now have a portfolio of B2B and B2C events across design, home interest, optical and construction sectors. Furthermore, Lee oversaw the launch and growth of Media 10’s presence in China and South Africa, with spectacular results.
Lee remains instrumental in driving the success of the business, and that of his team of Directors, whether this is in the UK or overseas. His vision and insight have ensured Media 10’s growth over 20 years and will of course, influence this growth moving forward.

Rob Nathan

Rob Nathan is the Managing Director of Media 10, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and growth. With over 25 years of experience in live events and a long-standing career at Media 10, he plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and success across the company’s award-winning events and media portfolio. Rob is committed to expanding the reach and influence of Media 10, ensuring its position as a leader in the industry while delivering exceptional results for clients and audiences.

Rob is directly responsible for a multi award-winning team of marketing managers, executives, and assistants, both in the UK and abroad. Under his direction, we have seen our event audience grow to over a million world-wide.
Bringing over 25 years’ marketing experience to the team, Rob continues to oversee the delivery of pioneering marketing and online campaigns for our events, strengthening our position in the market.

Steve has led the Media 10 Finance Team since 2017: a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience from senior roles with organisations such as News Corporation, Deloitte and BDO. Steve also has extensive international finance experience and lead the process to sell Media 10’s business in China in 2019.

Jane is a founding Director of Media 10 and oversees many areas of the business, including responsibility of our wonderful employees from recruitment, onboarding, and their journey to build successful careers at Media 10.

Jane also heads up the facilities management, administration and IT teams ensuring business efficiency. Having built our infrastructure from the very beginning, Jane continues to concentrate on the welfare and productivity of our fantastic teams here at Media 10. She tirelessly organises the very important staff parties twice a year, and sits on the board for two restaurants and a property management business too.

Marlon was appointed to the board in 2020, making the move from sales manager and he continues to launch digital design events, aligning all brands in the portfolio.

Fay is the driving force behind some of the UK’s most magical seasonal events, including the Ideal Home Show Christmas and The Cake & Bake Show, having previously overseen leading consumer events at Immediate Live.
 
She blends creativity, strategy, and a love of all things festive to deliver unforgettable experiences for both exhibitors and visitors.
 
From curating exhibitor branding and commercial opportunities to leading event marketing and content creation, Fay weaves storytelling into every element of her show, bringing campaigns to life and delighting audiences with joyful onsite surprises.

Neil brings a wealth of experience, having spent 20 years at Clarion, where he held senior positions, including Managing Director for their Retail Technology, Furniture, Lifestyle, and Design Divisions in the UK and China. Neil oversaw the acquisition of Design Shanghai from Media 10 during his time at Clarion. Following his tenure at Clarion, Neil served as CEO at Player 1 Events.
It is great to have someone of Neil’s calibre on board, and his appointment reflects Media 10’s commitment to attracting the very best talent to our team.

Darren has been appointed as Divisional Director for the Scotland office, to oversee the already successful Ideal Home Show Scotland and Eat & Drink Festival, and new event launches in Scotland. He brings over 20 years of international experience in large-scale B2B and B2C events, in a multitude of sectors including energy, healthcare, event technology, brand licencing and outdoor leisure, having previously worked for the likes of UBM, DMG, and Informa.

Darren has been appointed as Divisional Director for the Scotland office, to oversee the already successful Ideal Home Show Scotland and Eat & Drink Festival, and new event launches in Scotland. He brings over 20 years of international experience in large-scale B2B and B2C events, in a multitude of sectors including energy, healthcare, event technology, brand licencing and outdoor leisure, having previously worked for the likes of UBM, DMG, and Informa.

Sam previously worked at DMG, where he grew the Big 5 Construction event in Dubai into one of the world’s biggest exhibitions. At Media 10, Sam oversees the UK Construction Week portfolio, and continues the growth of the country’s largest construction events.
