Media 10 celebrates phenomenal success of Coronation Festival

Media 10 Limited, a privately owned event organising company in Loughton, Essex, was today celebrating the unheralded success of the Coronation Festival, being staged in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace to mark the 60th anniversary year of the Queen's Coronation. It was the first time an exhibition has been staged in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace.

The four-day event saw over 60,000 visitors tour the world famous gardens last weekend in incredible British summer weather, as they enjoyed a unique showcase of British innovation, excellence and industry of the past 60 years, as well as a lavish gala concert each evening featuring stars such as Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and Dame Kiri de Kanawa.

The Essex-based company triumphed in a 7-way pitch to organise the event. That pitch process was over 2 years ago and in the time since Media 10 has worked tirelessly to ensure that this unique event was a triumph.

Media 10 admit that they had an extraordinary task on their hands when they were awarded the contract to stage and profile the event. Employing 200 staff, Media 10 Ltd have fast become one of the leading players in the events industry as a result of running some of the most iconic and successful events in the country, including Grand Designs Live and the world's oldest consumer exhibition; The Ideal Home Show.

Lee Newton, a school-leaver before he was 16 years of age, founded Media 10 ten years ago and is the creative visionary driving forward the ideas that keep taking Media 10 Ltd from strength to strength. It is an incredible journey for a man who was selling handbags on a market stall aged 15. He states:

"I believe that the Coronation Festival sets a benchmark for what the events industry can accomplish with innovation, imagination and support from media and the great British public, and we hope to continue what has been a very successful relationship with the Royal Warrant Holders Association and their affiliated brands. I am not sure that many companies could have achieved this success and I believe the major factor is the fact that we are 200 strong, all under one roof, all passionate about success and brimming with creativity, enthusiasm and ideas."

The event has been a massive achievement for the Media 10 team and Royal Warrant holders have been quick to praise the organisers for their management of the event.
