Ideal Home Show returns with a bang!


After a gap of 3 years due to the pandemic The Ideal Home Show in partnership with NatWest returned to Olympia in March 2022 and saw over 171,000 visitors through the door. This an average of 10,000 visitors a day across the 17 days, an exceptional result in tough market conditions.

The event’s multi-channel marketing campaign included heavyweight out of home advertising, email, digital, social media activity, forging new partnerships, incredible PR coverage and an inspirational talent and influencer campaign.  

The relationship with ITV was revolutionary, and the biggest stand out campaign highlight. It helped scale the event and introduce our iconic 114-year-old show to new audiences. The partnership gave our show even more topical and relevant content delivered through bespoke features, competitions, and access to home and garden experts from top TV personalities behind popular programmes such as ‘Love Your Garden, ‘The Martin Lewis Money Show Live’, ‘Eat Shop Save’, ‘GMB’ and ‘John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen’ to name but a few.  

The media partnership included a £500,000 TV advertising campaign, which was aired exclusively by ITV in prime time and additionally, live filming took place during the Show to promote Andi Peter’s GMB’s Prize Giveaway, securing additional TV airtime.
