The Cake and Bake show celebrates its 10th Anniversary

The Cake & Bake Show hit the ExCeL for its tenth-year anniversary, a treat for baking enthusiasts with more brands, celebrities, experts, demonstrations and visitors than ever before.

Baking fans from all over the world congregated for the popular baking extravaganza, attending workshops, watching celebrity demonstrations, trying and buying delicious treats and exploring all the newest baking accessories. The Show attracted over 30,000 visitors, a new Cake & Bake Show record.

Event Director, Giles Perry, said: “Every year, the Cake & Bake Show proves that the love for all things cake and baking is thriving and growing. We’ve managed to create an event that perfectly encompasses everyone’s favourite things about baking; well-known celebrity names, demonstrations, interactive experiences, and hundreds of exciting brands to explore. With more and more guests visiting each year, the Cake & Bake Show continues to adapt and develop in ways that grow along with the UK’s baking demographic. We can’t wait to see how the next Show will embody the UK’s love for baking even further.”

The Show welcomed numerous big-name celebrities from the baking world, including Rosemary Shrager, Eric Lanlard, Oli The Choc, Paul Jagger, Cherish Finden and more, all crafting their treats and sharing their tips and tricks. Rosie Cake Diva impressed the masses with her incredible Show Stopper cake, a beautiful homage to the late Queen Elizabeth II in the form of Paddington Bear. Visitors were thrilled to meet the latest Great British Bake Off TV stars that attended, as they enjoyed chatting, getting baking advice and taking selfies with them.

Hundreds of brands were explored by visitors, with artisan, vegan, gluten-free and delicious products for everyone and anyone to love. After enjoying all the fun, visitors enjoyed a glass of bubbles and a delicious treat crafted by Eric Lanlard at the Cake & Cocktail Lounge brought to you by Cake Boy.

Visitors couldn’t be happier with how the Show went. One visitor said; “I definitely think it was worth the time. I have seen so many things today, on the live stage (…) I’ve had such a good day!” When asked about her favourite part, she continued; “The stages were my favourite part because they actually show you step-by-step how to bake things. There are so many things here for everyone’s fancy, it’s a Show for everyone.”
