This Morning Live wraps with record high results

Visitors top the 30,000 mark over four days of live entertainment and shopping big brand activation's amplified to the captive audience
Wednesday 30th May 2018: It was a case of lights, camera and lots of spectacular action as This Morning Live wrapped after four packed days of popular presenters, entertainment and masses of shopping with over 200 big name and boutique brands on show at Birmingham’s NEC.
The live exhibition, which is operated by event giants Media 10 and was this year partnered with Littlewoods.com, saw Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Rylan Clark-Neal, Alison Hammond and many more of the award-winning This Morning family, greet their army of fans from Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th May.
Offering a welcome distraction to the day job, presenters were quick to join visitors on the show floor for a spot of shopping, lured by the high street brands showcasing this season’s must-haves including: Littlewoods.com, Oasis, Dorothy Perkins, Skin Republic, Nice N’Easy, RX Cosmetics, Max Factor, Fitbit, The Perfume Shop, Yours Clothing, Dyson, Vison Express, Mark Hill Hair, Lambrini and Wyke Farms.
Katy Roberts, This Morning Live Event Director, said: “This Morning is one of ITV's most loved and iconic brands. Taking the presenting family and the wonderful mix of content and shopping that we’ve brought from the studio, the event connected the essence of the show to its core audience who travelled in their thousands from far and wide."
Other interactive brand activations included Google with its Mini Donut Shop truck, giving visitors the chance to win a Google Home Mini – or a donut, while the Kiehl’s on Wheels experience offered complementary skin consultations, treatments and a men’s grooming station.
Gilbert Johnson, Cultural Marketing and Partnerships for Google, said: “We were extremely pleased to bring out Google Home Mini Donut Shop truck to This Morning Live this year. Visitors could simply take part in the free experience by asking Google Home Mini a question, such as “What’s the weather like in Birmingham today?”, and receive a box with either a Home Mini or donut. The truck was extremely busy throughout with around 5,000 members of the public involved and nearly 1,500 devices and 3,500 donuts given away!”
The event, which has just delivered the ultimate brand experience for a second year with increased content and workshops, saw over a 300% increase on stand rebooking for next year’s event with exhibitors citing high footfall, a clear and targeted demographic and enthusiasm to buy products on offer across fashion, beauty, home and food sections.
